This company is responsible for many of Hallmark’s movies.

Hallmark movies tend to have an American actress as the lead with a Canadian as her romantic interest or sidekick. A veteran American TV actor or actress plays a relative to the lead, and Canadians play the supporting roles. Among the sidekicks are Dylan Neal, Cameron Mathieson, Steve Bacic, Lexa Doig, Sarah Strange, and Rick Fox. Are they well-known in Canada?

Sure. Not only conceivable but already done many times. There are a lot of nice BC beaches with stunning natural backdrops that get used in the film industry.

There is a great deal of coastline area to work with, and an unimaginably vast range of choices in the types of beaches. According to this - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Columbia_Coast -

"...... because of its many deep inlets and complicated island shorelines—and 40,000 islands of varying sizes, including Vancouver Island and Haida Gwaii —the total length of the British Columbia Coast is over 25,725 kilometres (15,985 mi), ....."

You could also conceivably do a beach movie in places like Wasaga and Sandbanks in Ontario, or Parlee Beach in NB or Cavendish in PEI.

As long as no one claims the movie is set in Hawaii or California.

Some that probably won't be featured in a Hallmark production:
