Alert! Old persons knowledge...OK not the old, just like old things.
How can we ignore America's Sweetheart, Mary Pickford ( Gladys Louise Smith ) born in Toronto.
I read a biographer about her once, and it said that even though she moved to the US as a child, she held on to her Canadian roots to a point. Apparently her headboard for her bed had carved maple leaves.
That's what I'm asking and why I don't like the article. It just links the person to the IMBD site. I tried to Google for some info, but came up with nothing so far.
I hate articles like this LOL It doesn't give the Canadian connection of the people listed. Like Brooke Shields.

Maybe she ate a timbit once...
Miniscule.
Shields has become something of a transplanted Canadian of late. She has filmed a guest starring role in Hallmark Channel’s "When Calls The Heart" in Vancouver and spent much time in North Bay shooting a Hallmark mystery movie series based on the bestselling Kate Collins books. The first instalment, Flower Shop Mysteries: Mum’s the Word, airs on Sunday on W Network. https://www.thestar.com/entertainmen...ower-shop.html
I’ve read that Tom Cruise lived in Canada a couple of years as kid, went to school in Ottawa, I think.
Matthew Perry, same thing. Also Brendan Fraser, born in USA, grew up in Canada.
Keanu Reeves was born in Beirut in 1964 but grew up in Canada (Toronto).
Kiefer Sutherland was born in London, England in 1966 but grew up also in Toronto.
