To me, the woman working the loom has an accent reminiscent of the “Cajuns” in south Louisiana.

I love places like this, but have never been to this one.

We have Fort Langley a National Historic Site, built in 1827. Every school kid goes during elementary school when learning about BC.
I remember once, as an adult going and really loving the free fresh baked bread that was done in outdoor clay ovens. Next to the ovens was a woman churning butter in which we got to put on our bread. The best

These type of place must exist all over Canada and the US.

It's not just the 1800's that I'm glad we are preserving, but even the 1920's. The Burnaby Village Museum in a suburb of Vancouver has down that. Great for kids.
