I love places like this, but have never been to this one.
We have Fort Langley a National Historic Site, built in 1827. Every school kid goes during elementary school when learning about BC.

These type of place must exist all over Canada and the US.
It's not just the 1800's that I'm glad we are preserving, but even the 1920's. The Burnaby Village Museum in a suburb of Vancouver has down that. Great for kids.
