The Labrador Population Project would make Labrador a separate province and allow the population to grow to 750,000 people in 20 years via governmental tax incentives as well as encouraging new Canadian immigrants to settle in Labrador.

This is fascinating. I just looked at the website for the project --
https://www.mun.ca/harriscentre/PopulationProject/

Look at the names of the MUN people associated with this. Nearly every one of them Asian surnames. Not a single Tulk or Noseworthy or Budgell in sight. This project seems to consist of a covey of Asian professors at MUN amusing themselves with grandiose ideas of a new intellectual colonialism, no doubt with a huge amount of grant money that could be used to make an impact on the lives of real Newfouindlanders.

Sorry, folks, Newfoundland and Labrador is not a toy for Asian PhDs to play with to pad their doctorate theses.

It will never happen.
