My son is Canadian and I want him to live there (home, living in)

Hi,

About nine years ago I moved to Canada with my 10 month old daughter. There, we got our papers in order (my mom was a resident there already), I got into a common law relationship and then we had a son.

Shortly after, I got married and tried to help mu husband get his documents.

Unfortunately, it was kind of late for him and we decided to leave together.

I now regret the decision of doing so. I know my son (and my daughter) would be better off living in his own country than living abroad.

I would like to take him back to Canada and don't know if there is anything that we can legally do to make this happen.

If anyone has suggestions, I will greatly appreciate your help.

I think as long as your son have his Canadian Birth Cert. you will have no problem apply for his Heathcard, SIN. card etc.
Just drive/fly across the border.

Are you considering Canada your son's country based on the fact that he happened to be born in Canada? It sounds as if you and his father have been raising him in another country where he is most likely much more at home with the culture he has been brought up in.
