I would like to say thank you once again to Canada for having our backs! You did it when you smuggled Americans out of Tehran when the embassy fell, and you are doing it again for every citizen in SE Michigan who is watching their team play courtesy Hockey Night in Canada and channel 9 in Windsor. When a person has to pay $4.00 a gallon for gas to drive to work in order to pay $4.00 for the gallon of milk to put on the dinner table, it really is a slap in the face to have to pay for premium TV to watch the best team in the league. I do not know who made this asinine decision, but they need to re-think their motive. Detroit fans have been loyal to the NHL through some tough times, loyalty should go both ways.
My family has been watching channel 9 for 50+ years. My husband's only criticism- not enough curling!
Wa-hoo! 2 -0! Go Wings! Ozzie! Ozzie! Ozzie! See how much joy you bring?
If anyone reading this knows Gary and those other fellows in Toronto, please tell them how unhappy we are. It's been nearly 200 years since we've had any skirmishes in Lake Erie. LOL
