Sorry, I missed the part where you said you did not have pre-arranged employment. In my experience, the easist path is to find a job, get a Temporary Work Permit (TWP), and then apply for Permanent Residency once you are in Canada. If you can get as far as the TWP, the PNP path to Permanent Residency should be pretty easy.
Getting a job from abroad is very difficult but not impossible. I lived in California and was able to land a job in Calgary. Being in a specialized field and having tons of experience will help quite a bit. For a Canadian company to get a positive Labour Market Opinion (LMO), they must convince the government they held an extensive search and could not find any qualified Canadians for the position. Keep in mind, to get your TWP, you must be able to prove you have all the qualifications outlined in the LMO.
Finding a job in Canada is just like finding a job any place else. Focus on your job skills and experience. See if you can find an open position that meets your experience. Once you find some suitable job openings, start sending off the resumes. It will be difficult since all employers would rather hire someone local than go through the hassle of hiring someone from outside the country. With that said, don't give up. I suspect you will find that your education may help strengthen your chances but won't mean much in terms of getting the job itself. This is especially true with very generalized fields of study like business or marketing. Again, focus on jobs that will allow you to make an immediate and significant contribution to the company.
In what field is the majority of your most recent work experience?

Try looking at workopolis.com, the website of the Edmonton Journal, the Calgary Herald. The economy here is booming...I don't know much about your area of expertise, but Alberta is crying out for workers of all stripes.
Good luck!

I have a total of 1.5 years experience in Canada considering my Co-op term.
I worked about 6 months in the Sports and Health Industry as Marketing Analyst. Switched to Consumer electronics goods industry as Sales Manager for the rest of the time
Back home I am the part of consumer electronics industry again as Marketing Head of the company since 2 years.
Prior experience is in B2B textiles for 1 and a half years as marketing and Promotions executive.
I will try Monster and Workopolis. What yearly Salary can I expect in Calgary?

There are certainly jobs outs there for the taking. Although, your experieince may be a little challenging when trying to get a Canadian employer to sponsor a TWP.
What type of job are you looking to land? What type of consumer electronics did you sell? In your current position, what is your annual marketing budget (give us an idea of position scope)?

You are right about the sponsorship.
I am looking to land a job in the automobiles marketing, Consumer electronics segment or the sports industry.
The products at the store line includes notebook computers, Hardware peripherals, Music Players, Mobile phones, Digital camera's, PDP and LCD panels and Car I.C.E. systems. Marketing budget of the company is 5,00,000 in Domestic currency. It will be tough to calculate in Cad.
If they dont shoot the Canadian experience Crap, I can land a job as a Assistant Marketing Manager probably.

An Assistant Marketing Manager position with a small consumer packaged goods company in Calgary would probably pay around $35K - $45K per year.

ok, been long in the update but here's the case.
At the time of applying for immigration, I will have
- 2 X 1-year PG certifications from George Brown
-my work experience in Canada may not be counted as it was not in the field required. Other than that I have 2.5 years work experience.
-The total stay in Canada will be 2 years and 10 months while applying
- I do get the required score of more than 67.
I have an employer with whom I have worked for a long time who wishes to file for arranged employment. But will I be bound by a contract if I do so?
I wish to apply for immigration without arranged employment if possible.
