I went to college for business (BORING) but I think my biggest dream is to go traveling out west to a few places in Alberta and some in BC (once i get some money in my pockets). While I’m out there I thought about working – in MANY different areas of labour… I like to keep busy with diverse jobs. I’ve done research as to working in resorts, teaching snowboarding or working in the tourism part, but I thought that maybe acquiring a trade would be more helpful out there?? My buddy says he can get me a job on an oil rig but I’m not sure I liked what I saw when I researched it (I’m not sexist or anything but being a woman and all… how much I could handle it mentally and physically. I do have a tough exterior though ha ha) I also thought about tree planting, but that can be quite isolating. I’ve wanted to learn interior/exterior painting but what use of that can I get out in BC or Alberta? or even drywalling?-my last resort. Anyone know what the demand for welding is? I found a training facility here in Ontario that would probably help me get a job in that (and put my art talent to use lol). I’m not afraid of labour and like to keep my options open.

Any insight as to heading out there for work would be great
