Canadian Military (safer, requirements, pay)

Anyone on here serving the military? How is it? How is the pay for enlisted people? How often do you move? I'm in the U.S. Coast Guard and don't mind it, but Canada seems much safer for my family, with better opprotunity as well. Any info would help.

If you look under basic eligibility requirements, you'll see that the CAF requires one to be either a Canadian citizen, or a Permanent Resident. This means you'd have a fairly complex immigration procedure to go through before being able to join.
