We will be moving to toronto frm US for a year and I had some questions regarding housing and schools. We are looking at rental apts near Yonge and eglington. Is that a good area to live with kids? Just wanted to know if there are any good preschools, montessori's in that area. I have a daughter who is 3 yrs old.
I have heard that childcare is expensive in canada. any idea how much would it cost for 5 full days at a preschool?
Also how expensive is Toronto for clothes. say GAP, Banana Repulic compared to the US?
Is 80K CAD good enough to live in toronto?
Too many questions......would appreciate your help.
I could live quite comfortably on $80K in Toronto, but I guess it really boils down to what your expectations and lifestyle is. If you put your mind to it, you can spend a whole bunch of $$$.
