and we know that stereotyping is not a positive attribute.. it prevents people from getting to know each other as individuals.
I find American women to be either nice and funny or rude, judgmental and exclusive. Australian women seem like American women in that way.
What patterns do you notice among Canadian women?
I think to stereotype an entire group of people is pretty stupid. I have found no difference between American, Aussie, Canadian, Turkish, German women, etc. I've been to 40+ countries and there are good and bad of either sex -- some are nice, some not so. They are just all people with one thing in common - hopes and dreams for themselves and their families. To try to come up with a stereotype of one group is as bad as saying that all Americans are stupid -- which is far from the truth.

I appreciate your calling to my attention there are only two types of American women or is it that you have only met two. Prior to this I have found american women to have a plethora of various personalities as I suspect Canadian women also have.

Exactly! We do NOT live in a black and white world... and thank God we don't!
I am fairly certain that most of them have vaginas. Not that I've verified this except in a couple of isolated cases, but I'm kind of taking it on faith that the sample was representative given the empirical evidence (births, etc.).
Seriously. What do you think Canadian women are like? They seem to be female; I think you can generalize that far. Beyond that, the question is preposterous. The nice women are nice. The rude women are rude. The quiet women are quiet. The noisy women are noisy. In short, they are themselves, whatever that happens to be in each case.
