Default Where in Montreal?

In Montreal, where do most professionals live? What neighborhood? Street? Building?

The Plateau or downtown (Ville Marie). Maybe NDG. Westmount if you have money.

Outremont, Cote-St-Luc, Town of Mount Royal.

They certainly don't live in the area that I live in (LaSalle)!

Young hip professionals are likely to live in Mile End or the Plateau while established and older ones will live in Ile des Soeurs (Nun's island), parts of NDG (Notre-Dame-de-Grace), alongside the Canal Lachine or remote neighborhoods such as Cité Jardin, Bois Franc and the entire West Island, especially for the english community, but you'd be a little far away from the center.

If You have a lot of money the slopes of Outremont or Westmount are to be considered as well as TMR (Town of Mount-Royal) and maybe Hampstead and Cote-St-Luc especially if you are jewish.

Althought one can find some relatively affordable treasures in the lower Westmount.

Montreal professionals live throughout the greater Montreal area as there are numerous and distinct neighbourhoods. The most affluent cities surrounding Montreal are Westmount, Town of Mt. Royal, Nuns Island but professionals per se do not all live in the same area. Take Care
