Saskatchewan or Calgary?
We're looking at potentially relocating to Saskatchewan or Calgary.
Which area is cheaper to live in? Are the areas family friendly? Which city do you prefer? What advice would you have for a person moving to the area?
Thank you!

You should have at least done some of your own research. Comparing a province and a city doesn't make any sense. Which is more expensive, Massachusetts or Chicago?

I meant to say Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and Calgary. Sorry to offend!

Calgary has the third highest cost of living in Canada after Toronto and Vancouver. Moose Jaw is definitely cheaper.

Thanks! I did some searching through Wikipedia, Google, etc., for statistics, but wanted opinions.

These places are apples and oranges, and calling Moose Jaw a city is a pretty big stretch. Moose Jaw is pretty small town in the middle of the Saskatchewan prairies - total population about 32,000.
Calgary's a medium/big city of approximately 1 million people.
Just based on those facts alone, unless there was something specifically in Moose Jaw that you were seeking, or unless you were trying to go to a sleepy small town, I'd probably go to Calgary as a young person. Moose Jaw would without a doubt be cheaper, but Calgary would be more engaging to a young person with its shopping, nightlife, etc. Both would be family friendly as well.

Moose Jaw is cheaper, smaller, safer and will have that small town vibe. But you'll go to Calgary to get everything else you want.
