Northwestern British Columbia (to live, pine, area)

Hello all,

Recently I applied for a job at West Timber in British Columbia. I have no idea if they will call me. However from what I see of Terrace/Kitimat they look real nice. West timber appears to be a good company too. If anyone has any insight I would appreciate it.

Absolutely Gorgeous part of a beautiful province. VERY remote, but if you're the out doorsy type, and like to be away from the mad rush of city life, this is the place for you! You're immersed in Nature in a big way. Fantastic hunting/fishing, and skiing....

That area is amazing, used to live Prince George (240 miles or so, as the crow flies, SE of Terrace), and loved going up to Terrace as a kid (still am a kid mind you, but when I was 4 or 5). It is really beautiful up there, but you gotta like being isolated (and the cold in the winter, though I am not sure if it is colder than Prince George, hmmm) and the woods...but you are going into the rigth industry, please comment later if you get the job on the Pine beetle situation....which is the plague, ahaha
