While it is true that Canadian politics are more relaxed than American politics (consider the disparity in scope of issues to be addressed and resolved!), I am not sure that these videos are indicative of anything. Bill Clinton played the saxophone on TV a few years ago did he not?

At the moment, Canada just happens to have a Prime Minister who took music lessons as a kid and still likes to play a tune every once in a while.

True. But we should not forget why this is the case. For example, no Canadian Prime Minister has ever been assassinated. Sept. 11, 2001 did not happen in Canada...
