I think pancreatic cancer is the scariest cancer because it is probably the most incurable. I know two people who died of it at relatively young ages - a man who was 50 and a woman in her late 40's.

Definitely. My grandpa died of pancreatic cancer. When he was diagnosed it was like someone coming up to us and saying "Hello, your Grandfather is going to die soon." And he did.

It is one of the worst cancers to get or die of. Painful and nasty. If we could find a way to make progress I am all for it.

And there is nothing worse than that process. About a year after chemo for me, on a follow appointment something didn't look right with my pancreas. So further testing was needed. Having beat cancer a year earlier I was scared to death.

It sucks. It more than sucks.

Whew ~ I'm so glad for you!

Please keep an eye on it... My love was told a few years ago it looked like there was a "shadow" on the pancreas but no follow up was ever done... If there had been, maybe it would have been operable and ..... Ifs and wishes don't change the reality, unfortunately....

Take good care~

Very sorry for all of your losses. My GF lost her dad to it after he was diagnosed in advanced stages and given about 3 months, which turned out to be about right.
