Getting up every two hours at night to pee is a nightmare. It will exhaust you.
Try to drink most of your water earlier in the day, and limit how much you drink from dinnertime on.
Are your ankles swollen at all? If you tend to retain water during the day, most of us pee it off at night, because when you lie down at night the water from your feet makes its way back to your kidneys....
If your ankles are swollen, start elevating them more during the day when you are sitting down. And buy some compression stockings. These work great, and don't buy the cheapest you can find... or they fall apart quickly. Walgreens has some decent cheaper brands and online you can find some better deals for the stronger ones (ex. Jobst). Start with the lower compression strength, and see if they keep your ankles skinnier during the day.
Also, make sure your doctor is aware if you are peeing a lot at night. Sometimes this can be common with drinking a lot/chemo/prostate issues, but sometimes there are other things the docs will think about... especially if you have a lot of swelling in your feet/legs.
Not after my surgery. My ankles and feet are slender again and I've lost weight all over. My face looks like me again; I hadn't realized how ill I was.
