my ears are either always clogged or irritating the back of my throat but i don't know if that indicates an INNER ear problem or not. once irritation in the ear led to a cough which led to nausea and rapid heartbeat. very odd. often these are the issues that are present during these scans

I've had a CT scan and it is not at all scary. Drinking the prep was the worst part. I laid down, then the technician put an IV in my arm with some dye (not painful). I felt a warm sensation going through me. The machine quickly takes a picture (about 30 seconds). There is no confinement. You don't have to go into anything, if that is what you were imagining. More simple than getting a blood test done.
