If its crazy low Ill contact a few realtors and see what other work I need to do to list it.
Hey, I dont need to be over there workin to find things to do to take my mind off stuff. I got plenty of stuff at my own house. My flower beds are sad. But theyll just have to wait.

We almost had a bidding war but stopped it at a certain price as it wasn't about money.. the house has to appraise and if it doesn't, what good was a bidding war? We picked the couple we felt loved the house and had the best chance of getting the loan. I feel good about the choice, I could tell they loved the house because they were smiling and had that look in their eyes when walking it and fully checked everything out, attic, stand up "crawl space".
Yeah, I know you have stuff to do at your own house. I'd put my life off when dad was sick. It helped to be able to go to his house and pack his stuff up.

Small cell lung cancer is not typically staged I-IV. That is a staging system used for non small cell lung cancer.
The purpose of any cancer staging is to group similar stage cancers for prognostic and treatment parameters. Most cancers are staged based on 3 factors: Tumor (detectable presence and size) Nodes ( involved or not involved nodes) Metastases ( evidence of distant metastases---always a poor prognostic sign). TNM staging.
Small cell lung cancer is staged as either Limited or Extensive, the presence of distant metastases (such as the liver) would automatically qualify for Extensive.
The prognosis for survival in Stage IV Non small lung cancer or Extensive Small cell lung cancer is extremely poor.

I want to add that I was watching a show the other night, I think it was entertainment tonight, there is a cancer doctor that will biopsy the cancer and then use different drugs on the biopsy to figure out what drugs to treat that specific one.
I have it on the DVR just haven't had time to get the information from it.
His success rate is pretty good from what he said.
Cecilia, how are you doing?

Good luck with selling the house. I hope going to closing goes smoothly for you.
You sound very busy, I don't know how you manage to take care of everyone.
Good luck to your hubby

I've been reading through this thread looking for info. A close family member was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer which had spread throughout her bones last February. She had started to have pain in her hip in May of 08 and had gone in several times without it being diagnosed. She has been on a modified chemo and doing quite well until recently when she fell. Amazingly, she has not been experiencing much pain. Now the doctor has said that it has spread even more and is talking about aspirating her lungs and wants to put her on another type of chemo. It is her decision, of course, but after reading some of this stuff I am wondering if that is a good idea given that she has tolerated the other chemo so well. What is her prognosis at this point? The doctor just says she has done much better than he expected. We live quite far and it is very expensive to travel to where she lives so we probably can only afford one more trip to see her. We don't want to leave it too long but were out recently so don't want to go too soon either. Any thoughts or suggestions as to how to know when the end is close?
