Default Cancer & Syosset & Jericho

I'm beginning to quantify info that's been posted to a classmates.com forum on cancers in Syosset communities around Cerro Wire.
[url]http://www.classmates.com/ I don't know if you need to be registered to see the forum, but you do to use it. You do not have to sign up there, but can add data here!

On classmates, to the left are your communities, pick Syosset, then look for topic header in the middle and click "Message Board" and scroll down to "General Discussion" click it and have your system search for "cancer" if the topic is not apparent. Classmates universal search is useless. A reading of this discussion may blow your mind!a If you are from Syosset, it will bring up many things!

Specifically I am looking at the neighborhoods surrounding Cerro Wire & the elementary schools adjacent to that site. Then, Jericho which has a couple of schools with a half mile of Cerro Wire.

Robbins Lane Elementary School
South Grove Elementary School

At this moment, Syosset neighborhoods are the first focus. Why? I'm working alone with no grants or support.

What I need are the following:
Your participation in mapping cancers in these neighborhoods.
1) Types of cancer
2) address
when move in
prior owner
3) age
4) is house a multi cancer family

Address is MOST IMPORTANT to map incidents.

I grew up across the expressways in Clearview. Baylis & Willits elem schools, both within a mile are on the next tier of inquiry.

For now, the focus is as stated above.

Also need participation of health professionals, medical writers, activists, to complete this study. The point is not so much to document all this, but to look for and prove the existance of cancer clusters.

Thanks, once again, without addresses and contacts, this will go nowhere.

Moderator cut: sorry. there is no private informaton on this board

Moderator cut: I'm sorry. I know your intentions were good.

Purpose of this private study, thoroughly NOT connected to anything going on in Syosset, is to quantify a lot of anecdotal data relative to cancers, clusters or not, in several neighborhoods that serve four elementary schools. Two of which have bordered the Cerro Wire / Syosset Landfill sites for almost fifty years!

Given use of pesticides; given ground water contamination, airborne contamination, wouldn't you prefer to know if there could be a casual relationship between where you lived and went to school and cancers in your family?

Moderator cut: I'm sorry, but you can not publish private information on this site. It really is a real estate forum. I believe that your study is a wonderful idea, though. How about if I move it to The Health and Wellness Forum? I do know that the people there are not all Long Islanders, though

And, I thought this was a good place to request information like this.
