Surely you're kidding? Sure, fasting can get rid of cancer, since fasting for a terminally ill person will hasten death, which kills the cancer too! Unfortunately, I don't think most folks want to die faster in order to kill cancer.
Certainly not kidding. There are plenty of books written by doctors who advocate fasting of one kind or another and there are also many scientific papers written on this too. It is said that fasting forces the body to do maintenance and repair on itself rather than spending energy digesting. Look at animals - they stop eating when they are ill which is a natural animal response. They do not stop eating because they are expecting to die, actually I am not sure animals think like that by 'expecting' the future, do they?
Orthodox medicine does not have a cure for type 2 diabetes, but numerous people have come off their insulin and even been cured by fasting regimes. I believe Jason Fung is someone who claims diabetes can be put into remission by a fasting regime. So, why not cancer too?
yes, diabetis is caused by too much sugar in the body,by fasting,it burns off the sugar.
But there is no proof fasting will cure cancer, cancer cells multiple quickly, will fasting slows it down or fight it?
A friend of mine died of brain cancer, not able to fall asleep is one of her problems.
Anyway, breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in Asia. Although the incidence is slightly lower than it is in the West, it is not at all rare.
-----------------------------------------
where did you hear breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in Asia?
Diabetis is common in Asia due to the diet-India and China are the capitals of diabetis, but we are doing a good job claiming the NO 1 spot.
As for breast cancer,I doubt if Asian women have higher rate ,as they tend to eat more veggies than meat and less dairy products, they will have a soy milk for breakfast as diary products are expensive, this has been their customs for hundred of years, soy products could show up in every meal !Also, some still shy away from birth control pills.
But Asian women in the States, they share the American diet and customs,I have known several Asian women who have breast cancer ranging in age from early 30s to mid 60s.
Soy bean does have the hormone, but cant be much, else Asian women would have larger breasts!!!!!
Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer and the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths among women in Asia, accounting for 39% of all breast cancers diagnosed worldwide.

They don't have a higher rate than Western women. I said that their rate is lower. But it is not true, as you stated, that Asian women "seldom" get breast cancer.
Not sure that breast cancer is particularly common in Asia.
I seem to remember a book (pink cover) all about breast cancer in Asia by some woman researcher or doctor who claimed there was a low incidence due to the fact that dairy products were not eaten much in Asia. I read it quite a few years ago so the information may be outdated now - except that she claimed there was a link which - if true then is always true. cannot remember the name of it or author.
Look up essiac tea which is supposed to be very good too.
Maybe it works fine in your alternate universe, but not in mine.
It makes me sad to see posts like this, posts that might suggest to some folks that things that might harm them will cure them instead.
Have you ever seen something on the internet and thought maybe that could work but maybe I’d better do some more research on that first? Or maybe you live in the US and have cancer and lost your job and therefore your insurance and you’re too young for Medicare and too wealthy for Medicaid and the ACA program you picked turned out to be an empty bag of nothing because you were unable to look at it first. You do for yourself is what you do and if that includes fasting I will do it. I got eight years after a stage III dx and almost no conventional treatment and even my stodgiest oncologist was impressed with that. I paid money out of pocket for alt treatments but they was never as expensive as conventional would’ve been.
Fasting will most likely not cure cancer but it has huge potential to slow it down. I would never advise it for anyone who is losing weight already but no one here should be taking my random Internet advice anyway.

After retiring from a career in biomedical research, I think I have more than a passing idea of what works and why. "Have you ever seen something on the internet" and know it's complete garbage? I see it all the time. OTOH, there are folks who are quick to dismiss evidence based medicine as being part of the pharma/health care industrial complex that's only out for money?
Heck, do what you want, but it pains me to see someone misleading others and encouraging them to go in directions that will do more harm than good. Maybe I should live with this kind of pain, though, since I won't change your mind, and you do offer hope to some folks (heck, fasting gave you hope so it appears?) and that's a good thing, as long as doing so doesn't do too much harm.
