Default Broccoli Compound Targets Key Enzyme In Late Stage Breast Cancer

For those concerned about cancer especially Breast Cancer and Prostate Cancer here's a U of California Berkeley study just out showing that the compound Indole-3-Carbinol or I3C has been shown in the lab to inhibit the enzyme ''Elastase'' which at high levels helps cancer cells grow especially in the breast and prostate to spread rapidly.

The compound I3C is found in broccoli, brussels sprouts and cabbage.

Although i hate broccoli i now buy the large frozen bags at the grocery store and try to have some at every meal.
