Good Morning cyn. I hope you had a good night. Perhaps you heard from Amber? Hope she got in OK. Here's hoping that your husband had some second thoughts about how he treated you.

Enjoy your chance to see Amber and SIL.

Good morning my friends!
DH is able to breath this morning better and so his mood is much better. I know much of this is fear and anger. The fear that I may leave him I am sure and of course not being able to breath because the air so so heavy right now. Especially with Amber coming out here--maybe he is scared I'll go back with her? I assured him this morning that I am here for him for the long haul. I knew when we first learned about the ALS that it wasn't going to be easy. I had no idea how hard it was going to be.
I did talk to Amber last night and all the kids are having so much fun visiting. When they come over to our house they are bringing the girls too so our house will be quite full but I will have Amber and her DH to help too.
That tropical storm is here now and we are getting plenty of rain so doesn't look like anyone is going anywhere until it passes! Have a safe dry day everyone.

Is that the dream in the rainbow connection? Or perhaps Tom Cochrane's Dreamers Dream?

cyn glad you got to talk to Amber & the kids are having a blast must be comforting knowing she is so close by right now even.

Check around your area to see if you can get some home help for DH now usually there is a waiting list. They can send home helpers that clean your house, do laundry, help with meals, help with the care of DH like showers, meds, assist you taking him to doctor's appt. etc. My insurance pays for me to have a helper here had to wait about 9 months to get services. So if you have a wait perhaps you'll get on services when DH is more advanced in his disease. Just a thought but it is a blessing to have my helper go with me to the grocery, pharmacy etc. now that DD is graduated & gone.
