Good morning! It's a damp, wet day here in our little corner of the coast.

Hope everyone has a good day.

Sunny, Hot and very HUMID here in SW Florida.

We went out for breakfast in downtown FT Myers at a place called Gwendolyn's Café. It was very good. The owner and the café were featured on http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-18563_162-57522746/addicts-get-second-chance-at-life-from-cafe-owner/ . Its a breakfast and sandwich shop....right off the main street of downtown. Wonderful food, sparkling clean and very friendly. We love eating here and will be going back. http://gwendolynscafe.com/Home.php

Sounds wonderful elston! Good to hear you had a nice time! I do miss trying new places to eat--places like the one you are talking about. At lease we have in our past enjoyed a variety of good restaurants. We are very limited here--fish houses! Oh well, DH can't eat so many different things and he's very uncomfortable eating in public now because his lips have no muscles so food sometimes falls back out....sigh....and eating at home saves us money so that is a plus too!

I have really worked very hard online today--listed lots of items. Been working since early morning and still listing so I am tired. Not sure how sitting can be so exhausting but it is. I did sell some things too so it is starting to pay off I guess. I think I'd rather pick up dog poo--ha!

Good morning elston--love the picture!
A busy day today...besides my typical listing and critter care it looks like I should mow the lawn too. More rain in the forecast so best do it while I can. Also the neighbor is bringing by the Pastor of his church late this afternoon to talk to my DH and me. We are both a little apprehensive.... So it will be a full day! I woke up so early today, 5am, and could not go back to sleep. Dish network lost a bunch of the channels we always watched so now there is really nothing very interesting to watch on tv at night---there never was a lot but at least we had a few regular shows we watched together but now I just fall asleep really early. Makes me feel badly for my DH to have to sit and watch tv alone....nights is when he feels the worst too. Might have to change our satellite provider. UGH!

I hate making those changes, Cyn. I'm thinking about changing from Comcast to Century Link which uses a different satellite co. whose name escapes me at the moment.

Whew! I did a workout w/Diana (one hour) then spent over 2 hours weeding out in that hot humid sun. I took a shower when I came in, but I'm still tuckered out.

Have a good day; I hope you enjoy the visit.

Today is the first of my appointments for radiation therapy. I have been holding it all in....but today I am feeling anxiety.
The appointments are daily for about 8 weeks. The radiologist will let me know as we go along. He says each session will be brief....only about 20 mins......but of course the daily trips to the center will play havoc with our schedules.

A necessary evil my dear friend! Yes, but after a few trips it will become the norm and you will feel better about all of it. I am the "Queen" of anxiety and can so easily relate and I wish I had a sure fired answer to avoid anxiety elston--I just don't. Just knowing we are all here for you just like you are all here for me does help...a lot! So my friend--here we are standing by your side and sharing our strengths! You are always in my daily prayers not for illness but because you are so special!
