Good morning everyone!
A very blustery day here and cold! I must mow today so the cold will probably feel good! I really don't know because I have never mowed when the weather has been cold since this has been my first yer/summer of having this job. We shall see. I love the door matt elston!

Hello everybody! Nice to see a thread where there is so much encouraging being passed around.

cyn your grass should be getting dormant so not needing mowed as often hope that happens soon for you. The past 1 1/2 months I've only had to have ours done twice yesterday's will probably be the last mowing for us this year.

Whew, done! Lots of grass out there on 2 1/2 acres! But yes Jaxson, it is slowing down now thank goodness. I will probably have one more time to mow this year--I think anyhow. Like I said, this is new for me.....
Robhu, thank you for the vote of confidence! I will do it! Especially with all the encouragement I get here!
I am so covered in grass and whatever else blew onto me that I am going to jump in the shower. DH has an upset stomach today--he hasn't felt well for a couple of days now so he's laying down.

DH is still in bed, now I am worried. Not sure if I should take him to the hospital or to his DR or what....he said he's feeling a little better but still...it has to be his decision anyhow. I feel like I am crawling the walls...ugh! Maybe he ate something that just didn't agree with him but we have eaten the same things...Guess we'll see what he feels like in a few hours. Hospitals are always open.....

Just part of the sickness I suppose hard to watch but I bet you'll see a lot more things we'd normally head off to the ER or doctor's office. Did they give you some things to watch for as far as the disease progressing? Glad you got that yard done.

Not really Jaxson--wish they had. Although I do have phone numbers for the people at the ALS clinic..just not sure if what he has is just some kind of abdominal upset or if it is part of what ALS can do. I know he is so tired of feeling poorly---that really breaks my heart because this man was never sick a day in his life. And he worked his rear off to be able to enjoy his retirement--for this? He just seems so fragile now. Just keeping a close watch over him now and will do what ever seems right when the time comes I suppose. I worry a lot about dehydration and him not being able to eat as he does not need any weight loss. If he doesn't feel much better when he gets up I'm going to call the clinic to see what they suggest.

He's up and I think we're going to have Marconi and cheese for dinner---a good stopper-upper!

Hey girl you are preaching to the choir about working all your life to end up completely different than you'd planned. It is a big adjustment & your life sucks big time until you wrap your head around how you have to live it now. It's a good sign he is hungry.
