Hugs to you cyn. That was a very rough day for you and hubby. I am glad that the day is over for you. At least you are prepared in that way and won't have to make any on the spot decisions.
DH tells me there is an ice storm heading our way--I will pray for no power outages. Guess it won't get here until Sunday but even though we have a small generator keeping the house warm and my DH's breathing equipment up and going would be a challenge to say the least. Just getting the gas for the generator and getting the generator up to the house will be something I will have to ask for the neighbors help. I can get the gas can in the back of the truck but once I get the gas in the container I probably won't be able to lift it out anymore as the wheelchair lift is on the back of the truck now and we can't open the back and so it would have to go over the side. I just hope the storm misses us.....

OMG it sounds like Little House on The Prairie.......and like too much work. But I do understand it would be necessary! I hope the storm misses you to.
Can you give the neighbor a heads up that you might need help if the power goes off?
Oh our neighbor knows and has already offered his help in bringing the generator up from the garage/shop...the gas would be no problem either--these neighbors are our angles and are watching over us! Only real problem is they work of course so are gone most of the day but as far as being prepared--they would be here. We are so blessed to have them live just across the road. It does feel like little house on the prairie elston--sometimes to much but it is perfect for what we wanted! Well, I could do without the dust--ha!

Well I just wish you lived a little closer to "Walnut Grove" (staying with the Little House analogy).
Good morning dear friends!
Lots of catch-up work to get done around here....I just haven't been able to get into house work. Guess I have other things on my mind. Business has me worried--it's way off this year. But I'll just keep plugging along with it. When Taz got sick the other night it totally left stains I can't seem to get out of on the carpet---usually I can get them out but these are being very stubborn. So I try another round of scrubbing those and do some vacuuming as well. So my day already looks full ....hope ya'll have a great day!
Good Morning cyn and friends. I am going out Christmas Shopping for stocking stuffers to send to my kids (sons and families). We don't exchange major gifts.....I send plane fare to the middle son and youngest up in Maine for winter vacations to Florida.....as their xmas present. Tennis lessons to one grand daughter for xmas present....and the other gd....some stocking stuffers and family gifts......and cash. (I am not so foolish to think I can shop for a teen age girl who I seldom ever see and don't know her sizes or taste. ) The days of going to the Disney store for pj's and the Gap for a couple of cute outfits......are over.
