I hadn't seen your thread until now. Your husband was very, very fortunate to have you caring for him. May he rest in peace. I can't imagine how difficult this must be for you.

Thank you for all if your kind words.

He passed away Sunday - only yesterday / and it feels like such a long time ago, as if I haven't seen him in ages.

The arrangements have been made. I hope he would be happy with my choices (he left no instructions, no wishes, no will).

Even though I am trying to be strong, I am still counting my lucky stars. I only hope he knew how much he is to me.

I'm sure he would be happy with what you selected. He seemed to me like a guy who had definite ideas how he wanted things done. In this and in other matters, he put his trust and faith fully in your strong, sure hands.

I think you were a greater comfort to him than you realize.
