I am truly sorry for your great loss. I know you loved and cared for him so well throughout this last long journey together. I am sure his last look at you was his loving goodbye to you. As always I plead for you to take time to care for yourself. Allow son to take on as much in the next few days as he can.

I know that you have cared for your hubby as well as you possibly could. May you find comfort in your grief, knowing in your heart that you cared and loved him well.

Please know that I am thinking of you even more at this time. I wish you peace in the coming months. (You continue to be an inspiration for many of us.)

Germaine,

I am so sorry to hear about your husband's passing.

You were a faithful wife, caregiver and advocate right up to the very end. We all admire the skill, strength, and caring you possess to do what you have done.

Your husband was so lucky to have you.

p.s. Request the records of last night's dinner offerings, and sue the pants off 'em.

Germaine, I am so sorry to hear of the death of your husband. But I am so glad you were able to be with him at the end and so very glad he passed peacefully. Please take care of yourself and let your family support and lift you up at this time. Your devoted, loving care of your husband -- while dealing with your own health struggles -- has been such an inspiration to me.
