Dry food for main feeding, and selected wet foods for treats.

Mannnnny people don't realize that is one of the problems with dry feeding. Cats aren't dogs... they don't chew their food.

I noticed that Willow doesn't chew his dry food. I thought it was so bizarre when I was watching him inhale his kibble. With that being said, he gets Instinct dry, Instinct wet and Primal raw. Any time I tried to feed him anything other than Instinct, he got major poopy butt.

But as a sidenote, I thought dogs would be similar to cats in how they eat.

Mine eat canned for their main meals, but I give them moistened dry food (Wellness Core) as a "side dish"...I pour hot tea or boiling water over it to make sure it's moist, and they really love it!

I give mine dry, Orijen prefuably, if I am going out of town to visit my parents ( wish I could get the staff to feed them during my absense) Mainly I feed canned, Wellness grain free and Instincts, they love canned instincts.
