This cleaning stuff has been quite an attempt here. She won't let me near her still & will lick off the CET toothpaste on her fur as I dab it but hates me for it, I think. Not good.
So, I'm thinking 'enzymatic stuff' that GOE said would be better. I hate idea (so does my wallet) of pro cleaning under meds, thus I am trying...
Movintime, I have no idea why I didn't see this thread! My apologies!
I'm going to insert a wee bit of humor here. If you think you have problems brushing Sylvia's teeth, one cat...... imagine what I go through every day brushing yep! 15 cats' teeth. LOL LOL LOL
You aint getting any sympathy from me, M! LOL Keep on trying. Read catsmom21 post. The way I started, I put the toothpaste on the small cat brush, let that cat smell the toothpaste, and then while singing (can you sing???) softly, slowly introduce the brush into the mouth. I said things like, "Good boy, oh you are so brave!" and "See? Nice and easy!". I end up using the fingers of my left hand that is holding the cats' head, to open the side of the mouth in order to insert the brush in my right hand. It's quite the feat.
The good news is, most of my cats have gotten so used to the brushing, there is no longer a fight!
PS NOT even going there about the dry food. You know how I feel about that, M!
