Canned no grain food
Ok so....right now on the Meijers website Tyson premium Chunk Chicken Breast in water is 6 ea 5 oz cans for 10.74 which is 1.79 a can.
12 cans of 5 oz tuna is 9.00 dollars.
Most of the grain free canned cat food I checked out yesterday were around 1.49. I think there was one brand for 1.29, EVO was I think 1.69?
What's the price of plain old chicken breasts per lb?
Cheap beef cuts?
I tried two 1.49 price points. Nature's Balance Duck and green pea which they seemed interested in but didn't finish. Today I gave them BG (Before Grain) Beef, (the ingredient list is beef and water and says its not to be fed by itself). It does have a lot of water in it but since mine typically lick the "juice" or "gravy" out of any canned food and leave the rest I figure that's why they finished it. First time ever. But I only gave them a small amount.
Seems like people food is only a little more which seem sort of crazy in the big picture.
