What have your experiences been? How did you know? How could you not know. I found a gift from ***** two days after I helped him pass. This gift told our story and comforted me on the third worst day of my life. The third day without him.

continued
I had not planned to go through with this thread as I found myself in a quandary about what constitutes betrayal of trust and the denigration of the sacred, and then I knocked over a vase with my elbow, and had to grab my laptop of the table. Oops. Well that seemed decided, but I still took some time to feel/be sure that I was respecting my relationship with my deeply loved, deceased,(he said I could use that word as long as I rhymed or used alliteration) kitty. Moosh, I miss you. I'm still writing.....

Conclusion: SABERS' LAST GIFT
I have just spent the last 10 hours messaging back and forth on another site with a women who knew her aged cat needed help crossing. She was surrounded by people, yet she felt "completely" alone. No one understood why she was so upset about "an old cat".
I only mention this because I now understand what I'm am supposed to do.
SABERS' last gift was not for me, I'm just the conduit. It is for suffering animals and the people tasked with protecting them. They are also suffering.
Yes, it tells our story, it is personal, my music was used to create it, how could it not be. I still don't want to share it, but it's not up to me.
Two days after SABER died....... this playlist was on my ipod, sure, genius function, logical explanation, except, I barely know how to turn my ipod on, much less do something in itunes? I hadn't listened to the song that generated the playlist for over a year, no one else had access to my ipod, and I hadn't plugged it into my computer since Halloween.
Spontaneous Compilation? Divine Intervention? Something More Mundane?
Does it Matter?
If you're having doubts, If you're filled with guilt, If you need consolation....

I have been visited several times by my most recent Bridge Angel, who was euthanized with HER permission in May 2009. I have four other Bridge Angel cats dating back as far as 1998, who either have not visited me, or are so subtle about it I have not seen nor felt them.
But I know they are watching over me and are grateful to me that I did not let them suffer.

Years ago , after my beloved Kibi (16 years old) died, I kept waking up feeling her jumping on the bed. The physical sensation was definitely there. I was not imaging it and there was not another animal who could have done it. It happened when I was awake too.

Oh yes, they visit us and we can absolutely still communicate with them once they've crossed over! When my beloved Humphrey I. crossed the bridge, he visited me in a dream that was so vivid I knew it wasn't "just a dream". He communicated to me that he planned to come back to me, and even told me where he would be found and what he would look like. This was about 5 weeks after he'd passed. A few days later, I told a friend of mine who worked at the animal hospital (where he told me I would find him) about the dream, and she turned white as a ghost. She said a gray kitten, approximately 5 weeks old, had been dropped off there as a stray and needed a home! I went there that very night when my friend's shift started, and there he was...he jumped as soon as he saw me and started meowing like crazy...when I picked him up, he graced me with the very same nuzzle/head-butt that was his trademark move, and I knew. It was one of the happiest moments of my life! I thought maybe it was just a coincidence, but he wouldn't respond to his new name (I was going to call him "Hubert")...he would only respond to "Humphrey". Coincidence? I think not! My family thinks I'm nuts, but there's no way they could understand the VIBE of it all, how real that dream was, the timing and the chills that went from my head to my toes as soon as we looked at each other again...pure magic!

I have the chills just reading this. Thank you for sharing such a heart warming story. That was the most beautiful thing I have ever read.
I hope my Shane comes back to me the same way.

Has anyone listened to sabers playlist yet?
Thank You all for sharing your experiences, I'm sure they've given comfort and hope.
The playlist in the original post was shared in the hopes that it would be actually/physically, acquired/downloaded? and listened to.
O.K. Saber is "here" and he is DELIGHTED that I'm so, in over my head, with this technology thing. I was, in over my head, the moment I met him (I knew nothing of cats) and the confusion continues.
I'm so grateful that he accepts my limitations and loves me anyways
