"Flavoring"? LOL, as long as your toilet is regularly cleaned there shouldn't be any flavoring. (I feel rather sick now, it's too early to have read that )

Our cats and dogs love to drink from the toilets so we always keep the lids down. It's habit for us now.

I'm not as cat savvy as most others, but I noticed that my almost 17 year old cat prefers drinking from a stainless steel bowl as opposed to plastic. Is it possible that your cat prefers water from a porcelain bowl? Pick up a small bowl made of porcelain (or something similar) and offer water in the porcelain bowl.

our cat only likes to drink from faucets. i wouldnt mind her drinking from clean toilet but we use those bleach tabs that you put in the tank so thats out of the question. during the night she will drink from a plastic cup of fresh water left in the bathroom. its all about their perception of freshness. applies to food and treats too.
