Thanks all for making me feel less guilty. I have one named "Flea Taxi" and he just sits by the door meowing and will occasionally make a run for it when the door is open.

I wouldn't have much of a problem if he stayed close to the house but the first thing he wants to do is go off into the woods (where the coyotes hang out).

And where there are coyotes there are usually raccoons and fox, both feed on cats. In the west, some areas have cougars taking cats. In the far south it's constrictors and alligators. Cats are tasty snacks for a lot of wildlife.

I just have to say Flea Taxi is a fantastic name. Love it!
