I'm going to be off City Data for a day or two, but just wanted to wish a very warm and happy Thanksgiving to all the kitties and kitty lovers I've found here.

Photo found online, can't remember where, just thought it was cute!

Happy Thanksgiving to all but, again, with these people who "abuse" cats by dressing them up. Its not an infant that you can dress up in a cute outfit. It is an animal that doesnt appreciate that. Look at that cats face...doesnt look like its enjoying it.

She plainly said it wasn't her cat or her picture. I was pleasant in my thread but why don't you just get over yourself already?

I hardly think anyone on this forum is abusing their pet.

Also, can you tell me what the cat is saying with this face? I have seen plenty of cats with this same face when they have no outfit on....

lol, I agree with Pik, that is the NORMAL face on most of my kitties! I think it is time to put the grumpy new person on "ignore."

To everyone else, I'm signing off now, will "see" you after the holiday.

Grumpy? I have cats too. They are well taken care of. They dont need to be dressed up. In fact, I doubt they would appreciate it. You can put me on ignore but I have my opinions on how to treat pets and you dont have to agree with it. But I suspect most cat owners treat their cats like me..not like most people on this forum.

Cats are animals. Need to be treated as such and they appreciate being treated like that. Loved but not treated as children to be dressed up.

Happy Thanksgiving all! And Happy Thanksgiving 30to66. But I must say, you're not likely to find a more caring group of cat owners than this group on CD anywhere. The cats that really protest this stuff don't get dressed up and take a nice posed picture anyway.
I'm all too familiar with animal abuse, and this isn't it.
