Dear Nancy, I am so sorry you lost Sophie, especially this way. You gave her lots of love and wonderful years, although I know that is small consolation at times like these.
The vet just called & Sophie went into cardiac arrest and died. She was such a special cat and she died all alone. She must have wondered why she was there and where I was.
Please know that your baby is now an angel and she is looking down and thanking you for acting quickly and taking care of her as best you could.
Although hard right now, I pray that your many memories of Sophie can help lift you up during this sad time.
You did everything possible for Sophie and she was in the best place for treatment. She will always be close to you in your thoughts. When you feel something brush your legs but see nothing, that will be her letting you know she is ok and thanking you for all the love you gave her.
