A life that doesn't exist (ie. kittens not born because cats are spayed and neutered) is not life. I don't understand your soapbox.
Say someone gets the death penalty. When their sentence is carried out, are there 1000 of lives that are being taken because of the offspring that that one person may have had (and their offspring may have had, and so on)?
