What a wonderful, happy rescue for that sweet baby. I am happy that they were in the right place at the right time to save him - what a cutie pie!!!! Thank you for sharing that, NK!!!!
They can sneak into some odd and little spots, glad kitty was ok.
A similar tale...ex was a gen contractor, got a frantic call one night from a customer. During the day, the bathtub tile surround had been installed. Wasn't til late in the night that the folks heard tiny meows from their little kitten, tracked to that tile bathroom wall.
Ex flew over, bashed in the tile and kitty was fine.

We called the story "Cat 911" for years....
That can happen pretty easy when you're doing something that includes opening up walls, floors, etc.. Always a good idea to count little noses before closing up a project. You just never know when a little snoopervisor will get himself in trouble. I rebuilt my bathroom floor a few years back and had to fish one of my kitty helpers out from under the house twice. Fortunately he was an adult and usually came to me when I called him, so it was ok. He was definitely my on-the-job assistant whenever I did anything around the house.
