The guys have been eating canned food for months now and every day is an adventure. They prefer the more expensive brands and I don't mind except when they don't tell me what's on the menu today until after I open the can. Tonight I offered Newman's turkey and Orion looked at it and turned his furry head. Really? Yesterday it was ambrosia!

OK then. They adore a supplement I got for the dogs that's brewer's yeast. They think it's a treat. Hmm. Scooter and Joe will eat them out of my hand they like them that much. I'm not fond of giving them treats of any kind but once in a while I do and these are made here in the US so I took a chance. Orion of course is special, I had to crush his. So, I thought what if I crush the pill and sprinkle it on the food?

I did and Orion started eating the food. Yay! I hate wasting the food but won't give it to the dogs for several reasons. So, now when HRM refuses to eat what he deemed ambrosia a day ago I won't have to throw it out

Smart thinking! I have several incentives in my arsenal. Vets-Best hairball relief (they go crazy for that), Forti Flora (I try not to use that too often because of the animal digest) and Whole Life freeze dried chicken breast.

The forti flora of course is already in powder form, but the Vet's-Best and the Whole Life freeze dried chicken crush to powder very nicely.

Cha-Cha is an appetite with attitude and will hoover everything in sight. ShadowCat will just sink inside herself in front of her plate and those woeful yellow eyes will haunt me for at least 60 seconds. We have tried every trick in the book:>)
