Update on OP;

Misty's surgery went well with no problems. Picked her up at 4:30 this afternoon and she was already recovered from the anesthetic. Turns out she had 2 tumors, one on each side of the back of her mouth. She must have had a pretty severe sore throat at the very least. Even though she's had a rough day, I can tell she feels better. She's eaten a little bit of wet food & drinking water ok. I'll be keeping a close eye on her for a while just to be safe, but I think she's going to be fine. I took the attached pic about an hour ago.
We both want to thank everyone again for all the well-wishes. It was appreciated.
