My 12 year old ladycat Misty is having laser surgery first thing Tuesday morning to remove a small tumor inside her mouth. This is the second time she's had this. Exactly 2 years ago she pretty much stopped eating anything, was & NAR (not acting right). My vet found the tumor in her mouth and removed it. There weren't any problems and she recovered fine, and started eating again the next day. This time it's not as large as the first one, and she's still eating and drinking. I'm not too concerned about the procedure, but I hate that she's going to have to go through this again. There's always a risk involved with anesthesia, so a few crossed paws for good luck wouldn't hurt.

Hope all goes well for Misty, always scary when anesthesia is involved. If you can please post and update.

will be thinking of Misty. I know your fear. My two eleven year old cats need to have their teeth cleaned but I'm afraid to put them under.

We'll be keeping all our paws crossed here (that's 88 of em') and praying for a speedy recovery. Glad you noticed there was a problem but sad that she has to go through all that again. Keep us updated.
