cat loosing hair in clumps, does not seem sick (male, fleas, kitty)

ok I have a male outdoor cat ( Not Ferrell ) anyway he in the past few days has lost large amounts of hair and I have just found 2 smooth circles on each on his sides, the circles are not red ( hot spot or fleas ) skin is smooth and soft ( not mange ) anybody have any ideas sense my vets does not open till monday. P.S. Matt the cat was in an altercation about 3 months ago , local vet gave him a shot of penicillin and he has been fine, till this hair issue

I am sorry, I have no idea what is going on, but I will say that I had an outdoor cat many years ago that had the same thing happen, so I am interested to know what it is as well. I hope your kitty is ok.

My cat zoey's hair would fall out in clumps when she was under stress. Usually when we would get a new puppy.
