My cat's name is Bishop, and he is an odd one! One of the quirks he has is when he done playing with a toy he will put it away.....in the bathtub. How many of you cat owners have gone to take a shower only to find that your feline friend has used the bathtub as a treasure chest of toys?

My guy's tend to leave their toys in a pile directly in front of the TV, or under the refrigerator. At least they aren't out in the open areas where I walk, so it's not so bad. Never had one leave anything in the bathtub though. They usually avoid the tub like the plague.

Charcoal puts his toys in one of two places. In the water bowl or on my bed.

Lily has never been one for toys. She prefers to get involved in whatever I am doing. That's why she has her own laptop with an aquarium screensaver - so she leaves me and my work alone. She does like to play whack the shadow puppets on the wall though when I turn my work lamp around to cast shadows.

Daisy leaves me toys in my work shoes. Every so often I put on my shoe to go to work and feel a lump in there and it is either a toy mouse or one of the things she steals out of the box on top of the fridge.

But Chewy and Daisy do like to play in the tub, when I am running bathwater Chewy will play in it until his feet start getting too wet, then he jumps out. When he hears the bathwater starting to run he jumps over the side and plays in it until it gets too deep. One time I ran half a tub and shut it off to answer the phone, then I started to run it again. Chewy didn't realize it was half full and jumped over the side, right into a half a tub of water. You've never seen a cat scramble so fast to get out of something.

For the longest time after he would first peek over the side before jumping in to make sure he wasn't making the same mistake.

Bobbles leaves her toys on the stairs. If we move them, she takes them back. There's no stopping her. She'll spend hours playing with her toys on the stairs. We now set them aside on the corners of the steps. She doesn't mind that. We have to be alert to watch for them.

The stairs are all things to my cats: racetrack, lounging area, playroom, spa (judging by the number of toenail remnants I vacuum up every two or three days ... ), bed, treadmill.

The basement stairs also are the waiting lounge before meals are served. They usually don't bug me or meow for their food; they just hang out on the basement stairs until I walk by. Silly creatures.
