lol, the end, that says it all.

OP, sounds like your sweet kitty just wants some more attention. She's still a kitten!! Have you considered getting her a kitty companion?

She may be wanting attention, to distract you form the computer. Some cats are just more vocal than others.

Rinse and repeat, for as long as I try to read.

Sometimes I try to play, and sometimes he's up for that...but sometimes, it's just that my normal routine is not being observed and he's got an issue with it. If I normally go to bed at 9, and I stay up reading until 10, he will be wandering around questioning me as to why on earth I'm still up when it's time for me to be in bed. He is not the kind of cat who sleeps in bed with us...he just knows the routine and gets annoyed when we deviate from it.

Haha! That's so funny, because that's exactly how she is at times! She will be meowing, so I go over to her and reach down, only to have her run to the other side of the room and up her cat tower! She doesn't however knock over items because I've got nothing in reach that she can knock over for that exact reason. I am glad that my cat has that same routine. The old cat my family use to own wouldn't accept the fact that it was time to sleep. Instead, she would constantly scratch on the bedroom door until I opened it and let her in, which still didn't help because she would rather climb on my face instead of sleep. My current cat, once the lights go off and I go into my bedroom, she knows that it's time to sleep.

She is so pretty!

Some cats are just chatty.

My male cat is jealous of my laptop, because it takes up what he sees as his space in my lap. Right now he's rubbing his face against my slippers trying to get my attention.
