The OP said nothing of the sort. Since when does "shouldn't hate" = "must love"? There's a rather sizeable amount of emotional territory between the two.

There are plenty of things for which I have no particular passion. It does not follow that I necessarily hate them. For the vast majority of things I don't love, I'm neutral or simply uninterested in them. Horses do nothing for me - doesn't mean I hate them. In fact, it would be irrational for me to hate horses in general - if I did, I'd have to take a serious look at the underlying reasons for such an irrational response in myself against all members of some species of animal.
