If you saw the world through the eyes of your pet, you'd very likely be seeing a lot more than you currently do. That according to new research that has found that cats, dogs, and select other animals may be able to see things that are invisible to the human eye.

I'd rather see a drawing or computer enhanced picture of what this psychedelic world looks like through a cats eyes.

That might explain a cats' well known habit of staring at a blank wall or ceiling when we can clearly see nothing there. But I'm not convinced it's the UV thing that makes them do that. A small part of me still believes they're playing 'made you look'.
