How cute! How do you get her to pose with the can?
When she was four weeks old, she was a starving unanimated zombie. I just set it next to her. It has taken 8 months to get her to pose with it since them. She was playing in the cabinets. I took some pictures from above. She was fascinated by the wrist handle of the camera. Since she wasn't running away from the camera as usual, I grabbed a can of beans and set in the cabinet. She was fascinated by it being there and I got lucky!
What a doll baby she has grown into!!! She just looks so clean - and healthy - and her eyes are just the most beautiful shade of green....She is also a very compelling cabinet model - she could probably get a job on "The Price Is Right"...thank you for sharing her with us. Hope The Basset doesn't mind being overshadowed by youth and cuteness!!
Bobbles will be very disappointed when the kitchen is done. She enjoys using them as a jungle gym. There are no doors on any of them, and they're stacked all over the living room and kitchen. She hides and hops around and through them.
She's definitely happy, healthy and alert--lots of alert and mega energy. Clean, not so much. Her socks are always dirty because she does to the basement. The kitchen construction doesn't help. She does a good job of cleaning the tops but she doesn't get the back of her back legs. I used to wash them, but I've given up because she instantly find a way into a deep dark hole and gets dirty again. When I was painting the upstairs hallway, she walked in the paint and left little paw prints on the wood where the banister posts meet the floor.
She'll always be part alley cat, but she's also a little lady. That's why she wears that beautiful eyeliner!
I love the can of beans comments. I'm thankful I thought to put a can next to her when she was little. It's amazing how big they grow. I can't wait for my son to see her when he comes to visit!
