Wow- isn't that a long time for a feral to live? It's a testament to the good care she has received all these years. Glad this story had a happy ending. I wasn't too optimistic.

You know I was just talking to him about that about an hour ago! He had a group of 5 ferals when we first met, and he is down to three now.
One that passed here recently was the mother of mama cat and she was probably 18 years old or so.
He had the one who was not doing well, Buddie, who he kept in his office and she was 12-13 years old or so. She had such terrible arthritis and was in so much pain, couldn't get around at all. =(
We had to put her down, unfortunately. But she did have a good life.
The vet seemed very shocked that she was so old and was doing so well as a feral. Her labwork was perfect!
Kitty Kattys lab work isn't as good as hers!
I am happy it turned out well for her. He went up to check on her today but didn't see her anywhere. One of his employees said he saw her walking around, though.
Thank you! Mama cat is doing well! I was up at the vets the other day and she asked about her. At that time, he hadn't seen her, but now he has!
