No, I don't. With the fragility of my most senior cat's other body parts I just don't "rock the boat" by adding any supplements. His eyesight is not the greatest, but it's aging at the same rate as his other organs.
I agree w/ not adding things as a vet told me this yrs ago. She said play it safe & avoid uneeded things too. But we all get so much info re cat health, & want to always do more, thus the asking. You are right though as safe than sorry is best, & supplements don't always do, nor contain what they're supposed too as well.
Our Benny (now 14) has eye problems and has seen an animal eye specialist for many years. The docs we've seen have never suggested any supplements for eye health. (Not that supplements would help him. They guess he was born with cataracts in both eyes, and one has since resorbed into the eye, taking the lens with it. That eye also has glaucoma. It's all very unusual, we're told.)
