Not trying to hijack this thread, but this reminds me of my cat, Marshmallow. A huge, loveable, Maine Coon adopted from a rescue shelter. I have severe arthritis, which sometimes forces me to bedrest. Somehow, Marshmallow always seemed to know if I was hurting, as opposed to just taking a nap. He also seemed to know just where I was hurting, and turned himself into a vibrating heating pad! He'd curl up on the hurt part, and purr, turning into a giant heating pad! It helped!
